On October 14th Russel Crowe was interviewed on the set of Robin Hood by The Today Show! Cate herself wasn’t interviewed but the segments did feature scenes of Cate as Marian! She looks fantastic, I can’t wait to see this film. Videos have been added to the video archive, thanks to ConstantCrowe.com for those!

The Guardian is reporting that Irrfan Khan has been cast alongside Cate in Indian Summer, which has now been given the go ahead by the Indian Government – as long as the love scenes are toned down. The film will see a 2011 release and will be directed by Joe Wright!
Khan is poised to play Nehru, the first prime minister of India, who served between 1947 and 1964. Blanchett plays Lady Mountbatten, the wife of the last Viceroy of the British Indian Empire. Hugh Grant is due to take the pivotal role of Lord Mountbatten.
The Daily Mail is reporting that Cate’s upcoming film Indian Summer has been put on hold by the Indian government whilst they review the contents of the script.
The movie tells of Lord and Lady Mountbatten’s return to India in 1947 and the relationship shared between Lady Edwina and India’s first prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru.
However, filming of Indian Summer, starring Cate Blanchett and Hugh Grant, has now been put on hold while the Indian government reviews the portrayal of the pair.
