Today Cate is in Sydney attending the NIDA’s 50th Anniversary celebration! A few pictures have been added to the gallery, hopefully I will be able to get more soon!

Whilst things are quite with Cate I have taken the opportunity to start updating the gallery again with pictures that we are missing. We are mostly lacking in Cates public appearances so I’ve started with events from 2006! 221 pictures from five different events in 2006 have been uploaded, all in HQ. More to come soon.

Last night Cate attended the 50th Anniversary Dinner for Vogue Australia, looking stunning in a red dress.

The Sydney Morning Herald is also reporting that to mark Vogue’s 50th Anniversary the magazine with feature Cate on four different covers for the anniversary edition.

The editor, Kirstie Clements, refused to divulge any details. However, PS understands that Blanchett will appear in a series of dramatic fashion sketches and was chosen after much debate on the pros and cons of a selection of Australia’s leading beauties as potential cover girls.

As you can see Cate Blanchett Fan has undergone a sneaky makeover! I (Laura) am also back as the webmaster, I was far too attached to the site to let it go to another owner and I still adore Cate so I decided to come back and make another go of it! Thanks to Melanie for allowing me back! I’ve changed both the main site layout and the gallery layout, I hope you like them! I have also updated the whole site to wordpress, so if you encounter any problems please do let me know.

The gallery has also been updated with all the latest pictures of Cate. Most recently she and Andrew attended the 2009 Helpmann Awards!
